Description
CEESAR is a non-profit organization that brings together vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers, insurance companies and research laboratories, with the aim of improving the safety and sustainability of road transport.
Its teams carry out advanced research aimed at understanding the causes of accidents and how to remedy them, as well as anticipating new risks. CEESAR develops methodologies for assessing the contribution and safety of innovations, including partial or full driving automation.
Role and Key Contribution to the Project
As key contributor to accident-based and driving data-based scenarios generation, CEESAR acts as task leader for tasks 4.3 (Ontology-based Semantic Data Processing tools) and 5.2 (Scenario Identification, Extraction and Enrichment).
